The Lazy Bum

I really, honestly should be finishing up my days, but I really don't feel like it, so those last days that I never did will never be done. They will fall away from your minds and will be nagging at my mind for all of eternity. I feel like a lazy bum, but then again....I am a lazy bum. We'll just leave it at that.

Moving on.....I'm not really sure what else to post about, so I'm going to post my three BIGGEST dreams.

1. I want to play ice hockey. On a real team. I think it would be so much fun. But....I'm older and it would be hard to get into a league and not really know a lot about skating or playing on ice. And....it costs a lot of money. I mean, first, you have to buy all of the equipment. Second, you have to pay for the league every season. Third, if you get injured you have to pay for the medical bill also....so, from the looks of things, I'll just keep on playing hockey with a tennis ball on my wood floor and on the street. And I can take the positive out of it, at least I have a stick, a pair of roller blades and a smile.

2. I want to act in a movie. Not just any movie, but....The Magician's Nephew. I would play Polly if I could. That would be SO awesome! I love Drama and acting and I also love Narnia, so if I could be in that movie, which is also my favorite Narnia book, that would be totally the best! But, I have....high expectations....haha.

3. I want to see the summer where there are NO thunderstorms, no tornadoes, no hurricanes, no disasters or catastrophes. I don't mind just plain rain, but I'd rather the ground and plants just stay....fertile, without rain, but that wasn't God's plan and I can't argue with God's plan.

If I had all three of those things....wow, I would be so happy and probably....end up forgetting about how my life is now. I have a nice life now, I don't need change. Sure, I'd love to have these things, but I'm happy. I have great friends, a great church, a great family and a great life. :D

I hope you had a great month of February and enjoy the month of March!

What has happened here??????

Well, I admit, I started thinking about my decision and realized that it was a stupid idea to even think about giving up blogging. No matter how much I’d love to have a break from blogging, I can’t. I couldn’t even last today!!!!!!! Which is extremely hard to believe….and now I feel like an idiot because I couldn’t keep a commitment. (Sure sounds like me.) I can keep promises though. I don’t break promises. I know this sounds stupid…..but I don’t count writing on a piece of paper “I promise” as a promise. I have to speak it. Unless I send it in an e-mail. Yeah…I’m a little technical about these things.

Anyway, since I’m now on my own wonderful laptop, which I love so very much, I can post pictures!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!! So you will be seeing my most favorite pictures of the ones I’ve taken in the past few days.

Random Pictures 002

No matter how simple this picture is, and how bad the background is, I still love it. And some people don’t notice this, but….my iPod is the thing sitting behind the headphones.

Random Pictures 005

This one’s kind of funny. It’s my granola. The funniest part is that I had to hold my camera inside the Ziploc baggy to take this picture.

Random Pictures 006

I am saying now that I LOVE the macro on my camera. LOVE!!!!!!!!!! Actually, this is my own eye. I also love taking pictures of eyes, especially my own. Coincidentally, I had my eye with me and my camera with me, so I took a lot of pictures of my eye. Here’s the others of my eye: (or my favorites….)

Random Pictures 010

I love that in this one, you can see the reflection of the camera in my eye. I love this picture. Love.

Random Pictures 012

Haha, this is looking up from under my cheek.

Random Pictures 013

That’s all the ones I’ll be doing on my eye….but I do have some more of other things. :D

Random Pictures 008

Random Pictures 009

Random Pictures 024

Starting with this one of the foosball table, the rest are ones that are taken out of the office.

Random Pictures 022

Random Pictures 017

The lighting is awful.

Random Pictures 031

This is my dad’s birthday cheesecake that we ate tonight. :D It was really good. And good for pictures too. (These are for you Lily. I took pictures of food…..finally! besides the granola of course.)

Random Pictures 036

YUMMY!!!!!!

Random Pictures 039

Once we lit the candle.

Random Pictures 035

I LOVE THIS ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Random Pictures 041

and……when we cut into it……:D two pieces are missing. :p

And that was Angela’s pictures for tonight!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been carrying my trusty camera around with me EVERYWHERE!!!!!! I love my camera and I am SO thankful for it. It makes my life so much better. And actually enjoyable.

Being able to capture God’s beauty through nature, yummy tastes of food, and just the random things in my life is so much fun. I’d love to go into photography in college, but I’d rather it just be a hobby. It’s not something I want to do for a profession.

I’ve decided which college I want to go to. And I want to go there REALLY REALLY bad!!!!!! But I still don’t know what I want to major in. I would like to major in writing (something like that) with a minor in music…..but I’m not sure if that’s what I really want to do. I mean, writing could just be a hobby too and so could music, I just can’t see myself making a living off of it. I love drawing too, but that’s just going to be a hobby I think.

I feel extremely bad for Zechariah, since he’s in his senior year. I’m only in eighth grade and I’m already fretting over college! Goodness! It seems right now all I’m caring about is sports, and women’s sports aren’t all that popular…which really stinks…

One thing I could see myself doing is something involving sports, preferably hockey, but any sport would be fine, besides basketball and baseball. Otherwise, sports would be great, depending on the job of course.

Wow, I totally just ran into my college plans, but I guess it’s better than you reading a bunch of junk about my boring day. :p

I hate school.

Okay….not all school, but I really don’t like some school…..

Like….let’s say….Math?

I really don’t like Math. I actually hate Math. No matter how much I don’t want to learn it, I have to think, what would my life be like without it? I wouldn’t be able to count….add….multiply….subtract or divide. No matter how simple those are compared to algebra, I do need those too. That’s why all my stupid math books bring back questions like those. And I can’t keep going over the same things….I need to learn other things in Math too, no matter HOW MUCH I hate them.

Now…if we were to go into the area of language…that’s a whole different matter.

I love language and everything about it. It’s one of my favorite subjects. Ever. Reading, writing, spelling….etc. I’ve always been good at it (don’t worry…I’m NOT bragging.)

Science. Science…..science…..

It’s not bad….but it’s not good either. Don’t get me wrong, some science is really interesting, such as STARS! I love stars. I adore stars. But with….plants? rocks? clouds? I know that those can be important, but I don’t like learning about them. I am really behind in my science this year. Really. Really. Really. Behind. I’m doing physical science this year. I did General Science last year and I loved it. It was so much fun.

History. I love history. Under certain circumstances. If I’m learning it in a fun way……meaning, reading about it in a good book. An interesting fictional book. I learned LOADS about Greek mythology from reading Percy Jackson and loads about Egypt from the Kane Chronicles. It’s amazing how much you can learn from one book and since I read a lot of books, I learn a lot. :) And it’s more fun than sitting in a class to learn it.

Music. I love music. I adore music. I…..music………*sighs dreamily* I play guitar. I play piano. I listen to music. I write music. Music.

Art. I love drawing. I draw a lot. I don’t draw well from memory unless I draw something all the time and draw it without looking at it. (confusing, yes. understandable, yes.) I draw well though when I’m looking at something and drawing it.

Wow….this is a lengthy post, but the more the better right?

Well, that was fun. I just totally rambled about school. And I enjoyed it. And I’m sure you enjoyed reading it. Maybe next time I should just write. And write, like I did tonight. No brainstorming. Just write on the spot. My blog posts turn out better that way. :D I need to go shower now, since church is tomorrow. Don’t worry I will be posting again. I won’t stop blogging. That is a firm decision.

Weirdness and Boredness....and....ness?

This is so strange.

I normally use Windows Live Writer to make my blogposts, which is handy, but can get a little bit annoying at times. Now I am at work with my dad, because....I'm going to a hockey game tonight!!! YAY! But, it is not type to rave about that yet, I'm still on the posting thing. Okay, back on track...I did not bring my laptop, due to I don't want to lug it around in a giant backpack and if I brought it I'd be on it constantly, without giving myself time to do more worthy things, like....school, which I did. (Thank goodness I didn't bring my laptop.)

I didn't think I'd be completed with my school so fast, so I didn't bring anything else to do except for my quiz material (which I have to catch up on...), my script for the Master's Troupe (the drama group I'm in,) and my sketch pad. Oh! and snacks, my iPod and my camera. I took a bunch of pictures that I'm itching to post, but since I am not on my laptop, I can't post them....

Guess what? Now I can talk about hockey!!!!!! Yay for me! :p

I am going to a game tonight. Washington Capitals vs. Vancouver Canucks. It's going to be a really really good game, that we NEED to win!!!!!! Although I think we're going to lose. Vancouver is the top team in the league, which means it will be a really tough game. And we're not doing very good this season, so...we really need to win this game to bring our stats up.

Now I don't know what to say, but I'll attempt to tell you more about my day....or something....

Dad has some pretty sweet employees. (Sweet meaning awesome.) One guy, no names are going to be mentioned, makes the funniest faces. Not on purpose, he just has pretty....well....(what's the word?) OH! expressive facial expression. That sounds about right. Another guy, he's just funny. (I believe I'm using the word funny to much...)

During lunch, which today was a ham and cheese croissant sandwich thingy and chicken noodle soup, we ALWAYS watch Sportscenter. Always. That's all there is to it. Today we talked a lot about football. (the Superbwol/playoffs mostly.) For those of you who don't know, every Friday on the Sportscenter they show: Not Top 10. Sort of like the Top 10 plays of the week; but opposite. They were hilarious. The only word that can describe them.

Wow, I had more to say about today than I thought I would. No matter how boring this day has been, I actually made it sound quite interesting. :D

I drew more pictures today!!!! YAY!!!!!! But....I can't post pictures of those pictures that I drew from looking at pictures....HAHAHA!!!! That sounded so funny.

Oh! I know what I can talk about!!!!!!!!!!

Last night, my family went to this skating rink (roller) for a birthday party for a friend of ours. It was so much fun. I only fell once and the cause of that was my brother attacking me. Okay....not attacking me, but skating really fast at me. He didn't "mean" to knock me over. He actually ended up falling with me. It was funny.

I don't remember if I ever posted about this or not, but I might as well....

On Wednesday night, dad, Lucas, Zechariah and I went to see TRON!!!! In 3D!!!!! It was so cool. I really enjoyed it, although it could have been done a little bit better. I guess I was just expecting more out of it. Although the music is AWESOME!!!!

With two minutes left of the movie, the projector shut off. :o All we could hear was the sound. At first I thought it was just one of those things where it gets to the end and the screen blacks out, then you hear the main role say the last line....then the movie ends. But that didn't happen. The people kept on talking....and talking....and we couldn't see anything. Then this worker walked in and told us that the projector had overheated and they'd rewind it a little bit for us, so we could watch it. :D It was funny. A highlight that I'll always remember.

Now I really am out of things to say. Which is kind of funny. I was on a roll there. Like a ROLLer coaster. Haha. That wasn't funny at all.

Before I go on rambling about some dumb junk I think I'm going to wrap up this post with my name.

Angela

(wrapped up.)

Oh! btw, the Vancouver Canucks: Canuck is a slang word for a Canadian just so you know. :p

My head hangs low. I am sad.

All my dreams and hopes have been dashed.

The recycle bin is full. Boxes now fill my hockey space. The basement is too full of junk to host any hockey practicing. My head hangs low. I am sad.

My blog needs a new layout. I find none to my taste. My head hangs low. I am sad.

My jelly beans that I got for Christmas are all gone. I have no more. My head hangs low. I am sad.

My math book awaits me. The red pen is ready. My head hangs low. I am sad.

My father is sick. The Buckeyes play their bowl game tonight. I will be following the hockey game on my laptop with no video. My head hangs low. I am sad.

My quiz material lies untouched on the couch. I must memorize. I am behind. My head hangs low. I am sad.

Maya has forgotten how to “sit.” She can only “lay down.” My head hangs low. I am sad.

I stare into our refrigerator and see no tasty goodies. We are out of bacon. My head hangs low. I am sad.

School started yesterday. At first it was fun. Then I found out I’m failing math. My head hangs low. I am sad.

My mind is running blank of sentences. My head hangs low. I am sad.

My room is messy and must be cleaned. I am really busy and don’t have time. I am now making up excuses. My head hangs low. I am sad.

The drama group I am in has a new play coming up. “A Tale of Two Cities.” My brother is the two main parts. The director has casted the parts. I don’t know what part I am yet. My head hangs low. I am sad.

I must take a puppy outside. In the cold. My head hangs low. I am sad.

My head hangs low. I am sad.

Thank Goodness I’m Not Bored

I am very proud to say that this is the first day I have lasted without being bored (for now at least.)

This day has been filled with excitement and long lasting memories. Okay…that’s going a little bit far. I woke up and did my devotions. Then, I decided I should probably shower, but before I did so, I thought it would be very smart to eat breakfast. I walked down our 13 steps (yes, I count my steps) and ate two pieces of toast topped with butter and cinnamon sugar, accompanied by a glass of chocolate milk. Then I showered. It felt good and refreshed me. I came downstairs and reluctantly did my first Math lesson of 2011. It was a stupid lesson, but then again that’s what I think about all Math lessons. Then…I read a book that I have to read by next Monday. It is quite confusing and the plot is a little silly…:p I practiced my piano for a little while then ate lunch: Ramen Noodles with a cup of water. :D Now, I sit at my laptop typing. (After checking up on my e-mail and Caps players tweets. :D)

So, I figured that I could make the most of today and type up a blog post….a tedious, boring blog post for my very few followers to read. ;)

My poor younger brother, Lucas has come down with the same sickness I had this week. Also, my poor father has gotten it. I just hope with all my heart that Zechariah won’t get it, because we have our church retreat this weekend, and since it is Zechariah’s senior year, this will be his last retreat, so I really don’t want him to miss it.

This is the first time today that I have been bored, maybe I shouldn’t have decided to blog….I think I’m going to go into the garage and fool around with my hockey stick, tennis ball and recycle bin. (I use the hockey stick to hit the ball into the recycle bin.) It isn’t the biggest recycle bin though, so I can’t really do any cool shots on it. And the garage doesn’t have a lot of space except for the small strip Lucas and I cleared out so we could pass and shoot. Once it gets warmer outside and Lucas feels better, we can play street hockey. I so desperately want to play ice hockey, but it’s expensive and too far away. I’ll have to stick with inline hockey if my parents will ever let me sign up for it. Liberty, which is the college I plan to go to, has a girls’ hockey team, so I want to play on that team when I go there, but it’s ice hockey and at the time I don’t even know how to skate.

Over and Out.

5 short…why?!!!

This is my very first official post of the new year 2011.

Just so you know, today is 1.1.11.

I wanted to have my 150th post today, but this will be my 146th…I don’t know how I didn’t do it, I was almost positive that I would, but too bad…

Last night, I was at a New Year’s party at a friend’s house. We played outside all night!!!!!!!!!!! Well, until around 11, then we decided we should probably go inside. So, we played inside until 11:45. We had a devotional and then watched the ball drop, accompanied by young children blowing horns at the drop.

It was a fun party. Once everyone left, (I spent the night) we watched Inception, which is a great movie, just so y’all know. Anyway, no matter that it’s a new year and I have so many things I could say, I don’t feel like typing it.

OH! The Bridgestone Winter Classic is tonight at 8 and I’m really really excited. I was going to be going, but dad shares the tickets with some other guys at work, and one of the other guys wanted to go. I’m kind of disappointed, because it would be cool to have the experience of going, but I guess you can see better on the tv anyway, and sitting outside for a while isn’t my favorite thing in the world. I will be watching it though, don’t get me wrong.Capitals vs. Penguins. It'll be a great game.

Well, now I have nothing else to say. I could bore you with more hockey junk or football junk, but that would just be “junk” wouldn’t it….

I am watching Florida/Penn State football right now…

Over and Out.

Day 19

Day 19- My nicknames I have and why I have them
Honestly, I can't think of any of my nicknames, which is quite unfortunate. I'm sorry as I keep not posting a lot of info on me. Yesterday I was rushing to post. But I will tell you about last night if you wish.

Last night was crazy awesome! As season ticket holders to the Washington Capitals Hockey Team, we received two tickets to go to Six Flags for an exclusive autograph signing. When my dad and I first got there, we headed to the Gotham Arena so that we could get in line to get Mike Green's autograph. (He's my alltime favorite hockey player.) After he signed my jersey, we headed straight over to the line to get Nick Backstrom's autograph, my second favorite hockey player. It was so cool! Yeah, it might not sound that interesting, but it was.

How do other blogs have so many followers?

Over and Out.
