The Lazy Bum

I really, honestly should be finishing up my days, but I really don't feel like it, so those last days that I never did will never be done. They will fall away from your minds and will be nagging at my mind for all of eternity. I feel like a lazy bum, but then again....I am a lazy bum. We'll just leave it at that.

Moving on.....I'm not really sure what else to post about, so I'm going to post my three BIGGEST dreams.

1. I want to play ice hockey. On a real team. I think it would be so much fun. But....I'm older and it would be hard to get into a league and not really know a lot about skating or playing on ice. And....it costs a lot of money. I mean, first, you have to buy all of the equipment. Second, you have to pay for the league every season. Third, if you get injured you have to pay for the medical bill also....so, from the looks of things, I'll just keep on playing hockey with a tennis ball on my wood floor and on the street. And I can take the positive out of it, at least I have a stick, a pair of roller blades and a smile.

2. I want to act in a movie. Not just any movie, but....The Magician's Nephew. I would play Polly if I could. That would be SO awesome! I love Drama and acting and I also love Narnia, so if I could be in that movie, which is also my favorite Narnia book, that would be totally the best! But, I have....high expectations....haha.

3. I want to see the summer where there are NO thunderstorms, no tornadoes, no hurricanes, no disasters or catastrophes. I don't mind just plain rain, but I'd rather the ground and plants just stay....fertile, without rain, but that wasn't God's plan and I can't argue with God's plan.

If I had all three of those things....wow, I would be so happy and probably....end up forgetting about how my life is now. I have a nice life now, I don't need change. Sure, I'd love to have these things, but I'm happy. I have great friends, a great church, a great family and a great life. :D

Well, would you look at that! I'm behind in my days....again. *hangs head in shame* I really am not so great at doing this.

Day 22: A website.

I believe I'm going to go backwards today.

That means I'm starting with Day 25.

Day 25- A recipe.

Well, I don't really cook much besides in home-ec class, so this isn't the greatest one for me to do, but I'll give you a recipe. A good one. One that I make OUT of home-ec class. One that you love. One that I love. One that almost everyone loves!!!!!!

Chocolate Milk.

Ingredients: Milk, Chocolate Syrup (sometimes you may use Ovaltine, but for best results use Hershey's chocolate syrup)

1. Pour 2% milk into a cup. Preferably fill the cup up to the top, just make sure you leave room for mixing the syrup in. (you don't want to slosh milk over the sides.)

2. Pour chocolate syrup into the cup/milk. Pour to taste.

3. Mix and drink.

Day 24- A movie no one would expect me to love.

Oh, well, that's a toughy. I'm not going to do How To Train Your Dragon, since others have used it....but, I mean if you've seen it, read the reviews or even just seen the previews, you'd expect me to love it. (Even though it's Dreamworks.)

Ramona and Beezus.

Adorable. Absolutely adorable. It followed the book too! *jumps up and down and claps hands wildly*

Yeah....um, I really don't feel like posting pictures....(I feel like a bad blogger.)

I've been watching American Idol lately. I think if you haven't watched it this season yet, you should watch it!!!!!!!

Twenty. "two" - "o". The big double decades. (Oh, and....add a one for today.)

Today is February 21st. Yesterday was February 20th.

Due to my.....lack of time today and yesterday, I was not successful in making a post. I mean, I am making a post today, but that's not the point.

Okay, I'll start with Day 20: A hobby of mine.

Well, I guess you could say that I have plenty of hobbies....but, originally, if I wrote the list of my hobbies you would be bored after your mind, so to ease the pain, I will give my Top 10 Hobbies. If that's alright with my followers of course....;) (this is not in any particular order by the way.)

1. Reading.

2. Writing.

3. Playing piano.

4. Playing guitar.

5. Drawing.

6. Playing on the Wii.

7. Watching American Idol with my family.

8. Watching Wipeout with my family.

9. Hockey; playing it, watching it and following it.

10. Listening to music.

That is Day 20.

Day 21: Something you know you do differently than most people.

That is a tough one! I know plenty of things I do differently than most people, but because of the situation, I will run off a few. :D

1. I talk differently than most people. My voice is my own unique voice. No one has a voice quite like mine. Even the things I say are my things, out of my brain. Sure, maybe I do get them from other people, but I put a different twist on them, so I definitely talk differently than most people.

2. I write differently than most people. Every author has a different style of writing. Their characters are different, their plot is different. It's their particular style.

3. I act differently than most people. I have a different, unique personality. I do know two people that have a VERY similar personality to mine, but I do have a different personality.

Yeah, this is about as boring as it could get. Haha. I guess I'm not as interesting as I thought I was.

Last night we watched.....THE PRINCESS BRIDE! Remember how I told you our copy was scratched? Well, we got a new copy! A Blu-ray copy! And the cover is AWESOME! I love the movie and it sparked a bunch new quotes into my mind, but there is only one that I am willing to type up at the time.

"Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die."

I love it. LOVE IT!

A lot of free time, yet I'm not blogging?

This week was...AMAZING!

I had barely ANY homework from SAIL, so school took me like an hour to do, which reminded me of the old days, when I was a young child....*cough cough* when I was.....ten.

Because of these absolutelyawesomewarmsunnynotalotofhomework days, I have had a chance to catch up on my reading. In this past week, I have read three books, which is great, because I have a lot of books I need to read, including three new ones I got for my birthday: Oliver Twist, King Arhur and Scarlet (the second book in a Robin Hood series.) Also, I have a 25$ gift card to Books A Million that I got for Christmas! I'm very ashamed to say that I haven't used it yet.....:(

Anyway, I have three days to do, since I haven't been on the computer. (This is a completely wrong statement. The correct would be.....since I haven't been on blogger.) I don't mind stacking them up and posting a few in one day though, it gives me something to do on this lovely (NOT!) Saturday. This week has been

so amazing with the weather change. The temperature got all the way up to 70 on some of the days and it seemed like the sun was always shining. I found myself playing outside with my little brother in shorts and a t-shirt. Now.....it's sunny, but EXTREMELY windy. The winds have gotten up to 45 mph!!!!!! I wish it could go stronger so that it could blow me over. I've always wanted to be blown over by a powerful wind. :D

I'm getting side tracked again.

Does this mean an "artist's" piece or a piece of art that I drew?

I could do both, but I'd rather just get a real art piece, because I really don't feel like going upstairs and taking a picture of my most recent drawings....

I really like Picasso's outrageous, abstract paintings, this one being my favorite.

Well, this one is.....interesting?

Um, I would have to say....when I took a trip to Chicago with the quiz team and during a food stop in the Mall, a few of us walked around evangelizing. Yeah, there's not much else to say besides that.......

Day 19- A talent of yours.

I think that this is an explanation of pride. Saying something I'm talented at. I have to complete the task....

Well, I'm not going to say something I think I'm talented at, but I'll do something other people have told me I'm talented at.

People have told me I'm talented at photography.

People have told me I'm talented at piano.

People have told me I'm talented at guitar.

People have told me I'm talented at drawing.

People have told me I'm talented at writing.

But mostly, people just say that....so, I don't know the REAL opinion.

Day 16: A melody that causes water and salt to fall from your eyeballs

I don't know where that title came from. At all.

This question is....very....hard to answer you could say. I mean, I've had songs make me cry in the past...but I think it depends on what I'm feeling at the time. If you know what I mean....of course you do! I'm sure it has happened to all of us at times. We've all cried while listening to a song. Right? Now, trying to remember one of the songs I've cried listening to is a by far harder feat. If i could choose any song that I'm almost sure I've cried about would probably be.....a TAN song. Yeah...that was very discreet.

I would like to say that I have 1242 songs on my iPod. Of course I don't listen to all of them, but when I do listen to them, it can be quite hard to remember the ones that I cried while listening to.

Now, I will go into the ever boring events of my birthday, which just happened to be on Valentine's Day.

I had SAIL, for one, so I was at a "school" all day. I had fun, because like 30 people told me "happy birthday." Of course only like two of them gave me presents, but who cares? Not me! I was happy with a "happy birthday" even if I did want some presents....

At lunch everyone sang to me, which was totally awesome! Totally.

In Drama, I am a French person, so I had to work on a French accent, which I was finally getting the hang of and now I can't remember how I did the silly thing! This happens to me all the time and it can get quite frustrating.

After Drama, my family, my two brothers, Zechariah and Lucas, my mom and dad and I went to see Gnomeo and Juliet in 3D. It was adorable. Absolutely adorable. It was definitely hilarious at times and cute at other times.

One of my favorite things about movies is reading the credits. They can be eye-catching.

There was a "Dolly Parton Gnome" in the movie. She was a cowgirl gnome with HUGE hips and long blond hair in braids. Guess who she was played by! Dolly Parton!!!!!

There was a fawn. The fawn was punk rock. (That's a phrase that means cool. I learned it from a 7 year old in a book that I'm reading and I thought I HAD to use it sometime.) The fawn was played by....none other than.....Ozzy Osbourne!!!!!

Executive Producer......Elton John!!!!!

Wow...

After the movie, we went home and I opened some presents. I got a few books, a camera case, a keychain and a pack of silly bands.

I would love to live in Puerto Rico....or however you spell the silly thing. And I want to visit Hawaii. A good friend of mine keep talking about doing that.

The reason I'd like to live in Puerto Rico is because you don't have to pay taxes. :D

I admire a lot of people. I admire.....my youth pastors....pro sports players....actors and actresses......singers.....

Wow, that was the most boring, short post over, but since I had many things to cover, I really didn't feel like typing a lot.

Unfortunately, I must fail my followers....I don't like to put up pictures of myself on Blogger. Maybe someday I will, but not right now.

As I don't want this post to be a boring two sentence post, I'm going to make a normal blog post not doing this 28 Days thing. Just talking about....myself and everything else a blogger is supposed to talk about.

Originally, I would throw the word "hockey" out there and start talking about hockey and sports and all those wonderful things in the world, but you know, I'm not in a sports mood today. I'm in a...Princess Bride mood.

It looks as if I'm slightly behind on my days. I do have a rightful excuse though, so no need to be pointing fingers!

On Saturday I was doing school.

Sunday I was at a CAPS game. And then the Super Bowl. (Not bragging or anything, but my picks- at the start of the playoffs you choose two teams to be in the super bowl and one to win- were in. I picked Packers and Steelers and.....Packers winning.)

Monday, which is today, if you haven't noticed of course.....I had SAIL all day.

Therefore, you cannot blame me. Ha!

Now....on to the days.....

Does this mean relive because it was good or relive because you want to change the events of that moment?

I'm not quite sure....I'll stick with the happy things though and just go with relive as in the good way. :D

Wow, I know there's so many good moments in my life that I'd love to relive, but I'm going to say the honest truth.

Those moments aren't worth reliving. It's the memories that make them the most fun. You'll always have the same memories no matter how many times you relive that moment and that's what I want to keep.

Can I change that statement?

I can live without them, I just don't want to. Generally speaking, life would be SO much harder without them.

Hm....

1. Sports.

I have absolutely no idea whatsoever what I would do without sports.

Of course, if there weren't sports, I wouldn't know would I? but still....sports are....awesome.

2. Books.

Books are....awesome. The one word to describe them. You can learn so much from them. Books are a separate "reality" you could say. With imagination, you can make the books become something real inside your mind.

3. My friends.

Life would be so dull without any friends. I wouldn't be where I am now without my friends. They've changed my life so much....

4. My cousins.

I love my cousins.

Especially my two cousins, Callie and Ben. They've both helped me get through a lot and they care about me too, which makes it all the more better. :D

5. My computer.

Of course, I don't need my computer, but life would be harder without it. Without electronics in general.

I love so many books. So many.

Normally, I would be obligated to say the Bible, but no matter how much I want to say that and make myself sound good....honestly, the Bible isn't my favorite book. I mean, I love the Bible. I learn so much from it, but I don't picture it as a book. I picture it as a letter. A letter to me. A letter to you. God's words in a letter to us. That's how I see the Bible, not as a book.

It is a very good allegory type book. Christian fantasy.....it's so good! It helps you learn so much about God and His ways...in a different, yet fun way. Not like a sermon, or reading straight from the Bible.

Again, only I could do something this stupid...

I was doing my Geography homework today and I realized......I just completely flip-flopped Colorado and Wyoming....and I wrote in pen....what am I supposed to do?

It's a stupid mistake only I can make.....O_o

Anyway....

My favorite hockey team is failing. We stink. Bad. We keep losing, even though we have the best team ever.

All this time I have been thinking that Ovechkin was in a slump. Well, I went to the Canadiens/Caps game on Tuesday and I realized that it's not Ovechkin who's in a slump, but the whole team that's causing him to play bad. He was all over the ice, playing as his usual self, but his team couldn't help him out any. That's why his stats are so low.....

Anyway, I'm kind of sloppily writing this post. I'm kind of angry right now.
